We started with the belief that regulatory challenges are operational, not compliance, problems. Maria Gabriela Bianchini, founder
MGB founded Optionality Consulting in 2011 after 12 years leading legal and financial institutions. Her last role, which brought her to Singapore in 2010, was Chief Operating Officer of the multi-billion dollar hedge complex Algebris Investments. Prior to Algebris she built the regulatory practice for New York-based law firm Shulte, Roth, & Zabel. She focused on regulatory processes across capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and the hedge fund industry. Following law school at the University of California at Berkley School of Law she served at the Securities and Exchange Commission where she was a senior staff member.
